The nonprofit Ear Research Foundation, founded by Dr. Herbert Silverstein, has been educating and helping those with ear loss problems since 1979. It wasn’t until 2004 that Geoffrey Frazier, president of Sarasota-based Global Financial Private Capital, joined the board after the Ear Research Foundation successfully brought back 50% of his hearing due to an old injury. He was named president in 2012 and strives to bring awareness to inner ear issues. Frazier helps both structurally and organizationally and also generously donates $6,000 to $10,000 of his own money every year to the foundation.
